Peppermint Candy Cane Mary Jane Brownies

Get in the holiday spirit with Mary Jane Candy Cane Brownies! Now that you have the recipe for Cannabutter, baking will be a breeze.



  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour plus 2 tablespoons extra flour

  • ¾ teaspoon baking powder

  • ¾ teaspoon salt

  • 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate

  • ½ cup Cannabutter or Onnis THC Infused Coconut Oil (available at Aura)

  • ½ cup sugar

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 ½ teaspoons peppermint extract

Chocolate Glaze

  • 4 ounces semisweet chocolate

  • ⅓ cup heavy cream

  • ½  cup candy cane pieces crushed, for garnish


  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.  Lightly grease an 8-inch square baking pan.

  2. In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

  3. Melt chocolate and butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring to blend, until melted and smooth.  Remove from heat.  

  4. Whisk in sugar, eggs, and peppermint extract until well mixed.

  5. Stir in dry ingredients and mix until well combined.

  6. Spread batter in prepare pan and bake for about 25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from the pan. Cool for 20 minutes before glazing.


  1. Melt chocolate and cream together in a small saucepan, stirring until smooth.  Spread glaze over brownies and let set at room temperature

  2. Use a rolling pin or a heavier pan to crush candy canes.  Sprinkle crushed candy over brownies. Cool completely before cutting.

Brownies are freezer friendly just be sure to individually wrap each in plastic wrap. Enjoy!!
